Cooking Instructions

  1. Slice the beef. In a bowl, add sliced beef, cornstarch, ginger and garlic paste, and 1 tsp of black pepper. Mix well with your hands. Allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Make beef stock by dissolving the stock cube in a ¼ cup of water. Stir in spice paste for sauce and sriracha. Set aside.
  3. Heat a ¼ cup of oil in a pan over high heat. Add the beef and spread it out evenly. Cook for about 3-4 mins. Remove the beef and set aside.
  4. Remove most of the oil, leaving a little bit. Add the green onions and chilies. Stir fry for about 30 seconds. Drain beef and set aside.
  5. Reduce the oil in the pan to about a tablespoon and pour in spice paste for stir fry.
  6. Add the sauce and toss for about 10 seconds. In a small bowl, add 3 tbsp of water to the corn flour to form a slurry. Add slurry to the sauce to thicken.
  7. Add the vegetables and beef back to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for 2 minutes and serve. Best paired with white rice and a simple salad. You can serve with couscous as well.
